The Reverend John W. Lucas is a man with a heart for Christ and a long-time zeal for spreading the Good News. His compassionate, humble, and wise spirit makes him the spiritual shepherd and go-to person for many church leaders all over the world. John is a veteran Gospel radio broadcaster whose programs have been heard over the airwaves of western Canada and Eastern Africa for more than 58 years. He has been involved in Canadian pastoral ministry for more than 60 years and has ministered at pastor’s conferences in 6 continents. John is the former National Coordinator of The Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada and is currently an Elder Emeritus. He also serves as a board member of 11 Christian charities and humanitarian agencies in North America.
Doris was born into a Christian family in Stirling, Ontario. Knowing the call of God in her life for missionary service, she attended Brockville Bible College and received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Religion from Indiana Wesleyan University and then graduated as a registered nurse from General Hospital School of Nursing of Belleview, Ontario. Her first assignment was to serve in a Pentecostal Hospital in the Northwest Territories of Canada. After four years in the Northwest Territories, she returned and taught nursing at her alma mater. Doris married John W. Lucas. Shortly after, when John received a clear direction as to the forming of The Maranatha Evangelistic Association, Doris joined her husband in their commitment to establishing churches, facilitating missionaries and their humanitarian efforts worldwide. Missions have been a high calling all their married life and ministry together. Doris and John Lucas have three children – John III, Paul, and Rebecca.
Allan has served on the board of MEA Worldwide / Maranatha Evangelistic Association for more than 39 years. He also serves on the board of the World-Wide Missions Society of British Columbia and has done so since 1988. Allan is a Past Director on the Canadian Llama & Alpaca Association Board and a Past Vice President of Alpaca Canada. He has been employed in the life insurance business for 30 years and presently directs an independent brokerage. Allan is the proud father of seven children and ten grandchildren.
Raised on a farm in Three Hills, Alberta, Glenn graduated with a BSc. in Agriculture from the University of Alberta and an M.B.A. from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, in 1979.
In 1992, Glenn and his wife, Kelly, moved to Tulsa to complete a two-year ministry training program at Rhema Bible Training Center.
Glenn has spent the last 50 years in the land development and house-building industry in both Canada and the USA. Glenn is called as a minister to the marketplace.
Glenn is married to Kelly, a Hospice Nurse, and they have two children, Dr. Elizabeth Severns and Michael Edwards.
Christopher was born and educated in India. He currently works in upper management at an international telecommunications company. He provides engineering services for the weekly Sunrise Miracle Hour radio broadcast productions. Christopher also serves as an elder in his local Church and is a recognized Bible preacher. He has served as an interpreter for internationally known ministers conducting evangelistic crusades in the third world.
Rosalina was born and raised in the Philippines. She moved to Canada in 2003 with her husband, Gil, and their two daughters, Keren and Sarah. She graduated with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and currently works in payroll. Rosalina has served on the board since 2017.
